Qapital Raises Series B Funding
Woden client Qapital announced today that it secured $30 million in Series B funding. Financing was led by Swedbank Robur along with participation from Northzone. The firm plans to apply the funds to growth and expansion of its user base.
Qapital is a mobile application company for personal banking. The app provides full-service banking features ranging from savings to investing. Allowing consumers to input their personal savings and investment goals and reach them in a manner that promotes achievement over sacrifice, the app makes use of tools and offers tips to track progress.
Qapital engaged Woden in 2016 to help them solve a behavioral shift among customers. Armed with an app that makes savings fun, the company targeted a segment that wasn’t prioritizing saving. Woden constructed Qapital’s story from the perspective of customers living in a world of outdated financial institutions and unstructured banking with no outlet or recourse. Once presented with Qapital–designed with users’ goals in mind–customers feel heard and empowered to save with tools tailored to their needs and tracking their dreams.
Ultimately, this engagement helped Qapital customers recognize the importance of setting and achieving personal financial goals. Woden is thrilled to have played a part in Qapital’s success.
